Add high-res streaming to your hi-fi system
NAD's sleek and compact CS1 lets you easily add music streaming capability to any stereo or home theater system. It could also be the heart of a small-footprint music system for your home office or kid's room — just connect the CS1 to a pair of powered speakers and control it with your smartphone.
Play music using your favorite apps
NAD calls the CS1 an "endpoint" streamer. Its beautiful simplicity is that you don't need any new apps to control it. Once you add it to your home network, you can use Chromecast built-in or Apple AirPlay 2 to stream from compatible smartphones, tablets, or computers. And built-in Bluetooth gives you and your crew another familiar way to connect wirelessly and play music.
Spotify® Connect and TIDAL Connect users can play directly to the CS1 right from their respective apps. You'll also find it in your player list if you're using Roon (subscription required).
Sweet-sounding built-in DAC
With a wide dynamic range, low noise floor, and nearly non-existent clock jitter (digital timing errors), the CS1's built-in DAC can reveal beautiful details in your music. It can decode high-res music files in up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. And if you want to use a different DAC, digital outputs give you the option.
