Exceptional center channel sound
ELAC knocked us over when they brought by the VELA BS 403 stand-mount speakers for us to hear. Though my listening session was stereo only, I couldn't help but wonder how impressive a 5.1-channel VELA Series home theater system must sound.
That's because the CC 401 center channel uses the same JET 5 folded ribbon tweeter as the other speakers in the VELA lineup. This hand-assembled tweeter sits between two of ELAC's 6" aluminum and paper "sandwich" woofers
