Vibration-reducing construction
The shelves are made of 5/8"-thick vibration-dampening MDF coated in scuff-resistant vinyl. The steel support tubes bolt together with the shelves.

For carpeted floors, the steel spikes sink into the carpet and minimize contact with the floor — and its vibrations. No carpeting? Small discs are included for the spikes to rest upon. These isolate the spikes and protect your wood floor.
